We have worked in Greyhound rescue for many years and have seen many happy endings, and unfortunately we have also seen some sad ones. So, although we may seem a bit overprotective, we have only the best interest of the Greyhound in mind. Before completing our adoption application, Please know that Greyhounds can live 10-14 years. This is a serious commitment you are making. Are you prepared to do so? Before answering please consider the following:
It's very traumatic for a dog to be abandoned by its family once it has settled into its new home, and pets should NEVER be considered dispensable. Furthermore, note that a Greyhound is not necessarily the right dog for everyone. These dogs rely on us to place them into appropriate, loving, responsible homes. Not sure if a greyhound is the right
